More Days to Save on Florida Attractions

The Great Explorations Children’s Museum in St. Petersburg offers active military personnel and first responders with ID free admission in the month of July. Regular admission is $10 for those ages 2 to 54, and if you are 55 years old and up, the cost is $9.
Also in St. Petersburg is the Salvador Dali Museum. This newly renovated museum displays the works of the late Spanish surrealist. The cheapest price is on Thursday night, between 5 and 8 p.m., when admission is $10 and children, ages 6 to 12, are $7. Otherwise, adult prices are $21.
If your kids like dinosaurs, you need to head to Plant City, where you will find Dinosaur World. This attraction has more than 100 life-like creatures you can look at, some up to 80 feet tall. When you purchase a full admission priced ticket in August, you can come back in December for free. Tickets are $12.75 for adults and $9.75 for children, ages 3 to 12. One thing unique about this place is you can bring your friendly pets on leashes!
