Free Birthday Stuff for Kids

This past week was my daughter’s 7th birthday. My email inbox has been inundated with emails for her from coupons for toys to free food. Ever since my daughter was born, I would sign up for birthday freebies from companies.  Each year it continues to grow as I find new places that are offering birthday treats.  It started out when she was born, I signed up for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus’ Baby’s First Circus Program. I received a free ticket for my daughter for the circus.  When she was three I started signing her up for the Toys “R” Us Geoffery’s Birthday Card Club. They send a card and usually $3 off any item $3 or greater in their store. If you go to the store, they give your child a crown, balloon and say Happy Birthday over the intercom. Kids just love this!   This year we created a birthday wish list at Toys “R” Us and got a free Kodak photo album.  At Barnes and Noble I signed her up for the Kids Club for reading and they gave her a free cupcake at their bakery.  Kmart has a Kid’s Birthday Club and they send the birthday child a coupon for $5 off a toy purchase of $5 or more.  My daughter loves the Build-A-Bear Workshop and they sent her a $5 off a purchase for her birthday. She also got a coupon from Old Navy $10 off a $50 purchase. If you really want to have some fun, admission is free at the Lowry Park Zoo when it’s your birthday. All you need to do is show proof with a birthday certificate or some other form of id.  As you can see lots of goodies for her birthday and I can get away without spending too much.
It’s amazing what’s out there, you sometimes just have to look and see if your kids favorite store or restaurant has a birthday club.  I checked around and found there are not only kid’s birthday clubs, but adults can sign up too.
Here are a few restaurants that offer free food or drinks when it's your birthday.
