Free Meals for Kids Every Day of the Week

During the school year, we can get busy with running our children to all their extracurricular activities. I know I do and sometimes, by the time I get home, it’s already dinnertime, and I don’t have anything ready to eat. As a mom on a budget, knowing what restaurants offer free kids’ meals can help out when you are on the go or when you want to go out for a nice dinner.

The savings can add up. I did some checking and found at least one restaurant a day, if not more, offering free kids meals.

Monday

On Monday all day long, you can visit the Mexican restaurant Carmelita’s, with locations in Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg, for a free meal for kids 10 and younger when you purchase an adult meal. Also on Monday and Tuesday, Cody's Original Roadhouse (2890 West Bay Drive

Belleair Bluffs, Florida 3370) offers free kids meals for children 10 and under. You can get 2 kids meal per adult entrees purchased.

Tuesday

The biggest night for free kids’ meals is Tuesday. Chick-fil-A has Family Night and offers a free kid’s meal with every adult purchase from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Denny's  940 Missouri Blvd.Largo, Florida 33770) also offers a free kid’s meal on Tuesday and on Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. for kids 10 and under. You can get up to two free kids’ entrées for every adult entrée purchase of $2.50 or more. Beef 'O' Brady's (10799 Park Boulevard Seminole, Florida 33772) allows kids 12 and under to eat free from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays with the purchase of a regular price adult meal.

Also on Tuesday, Delosa's Pizza & Italian Restaurant (2535 East Bay Drive

Largo, Florida 33771) offers a free kid’s meal per adult meal purchase. Kobe Japanese Steakhouse (28775 US-19 N Clearwater, Florida 33761) allows children 10 years and under to choose an item from the kid’s menu with the purchase of an adult dinner. The Courtside Grille (110 Fountain Parkway St. Petersburg, Florida 33716) offers kids eat free with adult meal purchase after 4 p.m. Sonny'sReal Pit Bar-B-Q offers a kids’ eat free night on Tuesday, but only at the Tyrone, Pinellas Park and Zephyrhills locations. You can get 2 kids per adult meal over $8.99 from 4-8pm.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, try the new Doghouse Bar (2901 Tyrone Boulevad St. Petersburg, Florida 33710). All day, kids 10 and under eat with an adult meal purchase. Paisano's Pizza 'n Pasta (6000 4th Street North Saint Petersburg, Florida 33703) has the same policy.

Saturday

On Saturday kids eat free at Quaker Steak & Lube from 5 to 10pm with adult meal purchase.

All weekend long kids can eat free at Steak ‘N Shake all day. For every $8 spent you get one free kid’s meal. This is when you eat in the restaurant.

Any day

Pick a day, because every day of the week, kids ages 12 and under can eat free at IHOP  ( 22996 US.S 19 Clearwater, Florida 33765) from 4 to 8 pm. You can get one kid meal per adult. One of the YaYa’s Chicken (1390 34th Street North St. Petersburg, Florida 33713) offers a free kids meal every day after 5 p.m. with the purchase of an adult meal and drink purchase. Your child must be present to get the deal. Also, every day kids 3 and under eat free at Golden Corral with an adult purchase. If you like pizza, than take your kids to the Untouchables Pasta & Pizza (1105 Clearwater Largo Road, Largo, Florida). They offer a free kids’ spaghetti meal every day with the purchase of an adult meal.

Personally, I have found it’s sometimes cheaper to eat out than cook at home when you get free kid’s meals. You also don’t have to wash the dishes!
