New Special Needs Program Comes to Pinellas County


Young Life Capernaum Pinellas County is hosting its first event on Saturday, September 15th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Seminole Lanes Bowling Alley
What: Includes 3 games of bowling, participating in a raffle
Cost: Parents or Caretakers $11.00       
Individuals with Special Needs $7.00
Where: Seminole Lanes Bowling Alley 8668 Park Boulevard, Seminole, FL

“The Capernaum Project was founded in 1986 by Nick Palermo in San Jose, California. Since then, Young Life’s focus on teens and young adults with special needs has spread throughout the United States and abroad.”

Capernaum is a Young Life club geared toward reaching teens and young adults with special needs with the gospel, as well as to open as many doors as possible for them to live life to the fullest. This includes helping them develop meaningful relationships, to have fun and laugh, to have a since of adventure, and to know that they are loved and accepted.
 
Young Life Capernaum Pinellas County:
Meets two times a month on the 1st and 3rd Saturday from 3-6pm.
 
-Play group games
-Worship together through song and
-Hear a gospel message
-Give Parents a chance to rest

They
strive not only to minister to those with special needs but also to their parent or caretaker.  
How You Can Get Involved?  
·         Invite a friend or family member to become a club member
·         Become a volunteer club leader, event leader, or driver
·         Provide financial support
