Hula dancer teaches kids how to hula on North Redington Beach, FL |
We are so
fortunate we live so close to the beach. I know, I take it for granted and don’t
really enjoy our gorgeous beaches like I should. I mean that’s why tourists
come down here on vacation to relax, right? So, we should use it as our
relaxation too!
If you haven’t
been to the beach lately, I encourage you to make time and go with your family
to the beach. The beach is always open and it’s free, so it doesn’t matter if
you see the sunrise or the sunset.
I love going
during the day with my two little girls. They have so much fun playing in the
sand and swimming in the water. You can beat the free price and kids enjoy it
too.
If you like
watching the sunset, we found a great place in Pinellas
County on North Redington
Beach . It’s a place the
locals frequent. It is on the beach behind the Double Tree Hotel called Mango’s
Restaurant and Tiki Bar. You can go and watch the sunset, while the kids play
in the sand. They have tropical island music playing and at sunset the hula
dancers known as the Sunset Island Dancers perform. The hula dancers even give
free hula lessons to the kids. The dancers also let the kids do the limbo. My
girls have so much fun dancing and doing the limbo.
The restaurant
and tiki bar are open if you want food and drinks, but you don’t have to buy
anything. You can bring your own chairs and sit on the beach and bring your own
food. The sunsets are beautiful.
It’s just
relaxing and something the whole family can enjoy.
